Promotion terms

These terms govern promotion slots in the Promoted row on the homepage of stremio-addons.net, purchased through the promote page.

By purchasing or redeeming a promotion slot, you agree to these terms, in addition to our terms of use and addon submission rules. If you do not agree, do not purchase a promotion slot.

If you have questions about these terms, please contact us.

Payments through AddonPass

Promotion slots are sold as a monthly subscription through AddonPass, a third-party service. We are not affiliated with AddonPass. Payments are made in USDC on Base.

AddonPass handles all payments, renewals and cancellations, and its own terms apply to your purchase. We never receive or store your payment details.

You choose how many months the subscription runs at checkout. It renews automatically each month until then.

Eligibility

To redeem a promotion slot:

• You must be the verified developer of the addon. See claim your addon.
• The addon must be approved by our moderators and not archived.
• The addon must not contain adult content (NSFW).
• A slot must be available at the time of your purchase.

Slots

There are a limited number of promotion slots available.

Only purchase a slot while the promote page shows one as available. Purchases made when all slots are taken cannot be redeemed and are not refunded.

A slot stays reserved for your subscription while it is paid, including any grace period AddonPass gives for a late renewal, unless you cancel the promotion. Once the subscription ends, the slot becomes available to others.

Placement

Promoted addons are shown in the Promoted row on the homepage, in the order they were redeemed.

We do not guarantee any number of views, clicks, installs or stars.

One purchase, one addon

One purchase promotes one addon for the whole subscription. Once redeemed, a purchase cannot be moved to a different addon or transferred to another account.

Cancelling a promotion

You can cancel a promotion at any time from your developer dashboard. This removes your addon from the Promoted row right away and makes its slot available to others.

Cancelling a promotion does not cancel your subscription. Your subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in AddonPass.

While your subscription is paid, you can promote the same addon again with the same purchase, if a slot is available.

Moderation

Promoted addons must follow our addon submission rules at all times.

Promoted addons must not contain adult content (NSFW), and moderators treat a promoted addon that does as breaking these rules.

If a promoted addon breaks these rules, or is hidden, archived or removed for any other reason, it is no longer shown in the Promoted row. Its slot stays reserved while the subscription is paid, and your subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in AddonPass.

Refunds

All purchases, including renewals, are non-refundable. This includes renewals charged while your addon is hidden by moderation.

Changes to the service

Promotions are an experimental feature. We may change, suspend or discontinue them at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of a promotion slot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
